Bringing you the most recent updates in bird conservation and research.

Our Mission

We hope that by raising awareness and educating people about the importance of birds and their impact on the ecosystem and biodiversity of Britain (and indeed the whole world), we can inspire individuals to help look after and protect these creatures. We find and bring together the latest research, interesting stories and statistics and publish them here for free, simply with the aim of spreading knowledge.

“Everyone likes birds. What wild creature is more accessible to our eyes and ears, as close to us and everyone in the world, as universal as a bird?”

— David Attenborough

There Is Still Hope

Conservation projects around the world show us that it is still possible to reverse the negative effects of human activity on wildlife populations including bird populations. Rewilding programmes across the world including those in England such as the Knepp Rewilding Project have had remarkable success stories and give us hope for a better future. Watch below to see one of the greatest success stories in conservation and rewilding history and learn how it works.
